The SickOnes are quite open when it comes to personal struggles. We asked singer Kristie about, mental health and the message of their latest single ‘Agility’.

It’s important to me to tell people not to spend too much time in the dark, struggling and worrying. You don’t want to leave too much to break”. It suggests the idea of not wasting too much of your time in a place (mental or physical) that you then have to work to rebuild.

It could range from depression, being bullied, losing a loved one, an unexpected life change, and so on. The purpose of the song is to acknowledge life can’t move all the time smoothly, and when the time comes that your not your best self that it’s okay. You can work with it to become stronger and never doubt yourself despite what’s going on.

Ultimately, if you think about a life hurdle differently, you can move with it to be stronger, better, and ultimately more agile!
