What about a Swiss Openair Gampel event

Varied. Surprising. In the open air. And with a lot of Swissness. Up in the Alps, the Swiss army knife has just become the second most important tool of the mountains. It has become subsequent to the – not very secluded – festival found deep in the country’s highlands.

The Open Air festival lineup is already out for the wolves to prepare their treats. From August 17th to 20th, Gampel-Bratsch will receive visits from this year’s headliners: Macklemore (postponed from last year’s edition), the LA hip-hop band Cypress Hill, and the German wordsmith Peter Fox.

The mileage taken from this event is its colourful scheme of styles. We come across a dance-pop introduction which includes the renowned Years & Years, fully blossomed Norwegian DJ Kygo, the German Nina Chuba pop singer, the Germany-based Giant Rooks and many other belts from around and overseas.

Rummaging through rock, golden pop classics, urban hip hop, reggae, and an electronic layering for all our fellow dancers, they also pay a rightful tribute to their local Swiss artists who have taken upon this year’s lineup. Hecht, hip hop duo L Loko & Drini, Manillio and Stefanie Heinzmann are amongst these and many more.
