Sly Persuaders are in Margo’s Living Room

Sly Persuaders and Blue Statue sharing a premiere via Public Pressure? Count me in!

These two bands sound just as good live as they do on record and these previously unreleased live vids (recorded at Hermitage Works Studios) are undeniable proof of their excellence. ‘Control’ By Sly Persuaders is the bands’ next single, (out 14th September with a video directed by HOTGOTHIC’s Stacy Picard), so do keep that in mind as well as attending their Sunday show at the Lock Tavern this Sunday 5th August. You’d be a fool to miss out on the last Roadkill Records weekender at Camden’s The Lock Tavern (yet another live music venue bites the dust).

Blue Statue are so good that any live video they’re in looks a bit like it’s mimed as the tightness of the band and the conviction of performance is always 110%. This is the third video filmed for the Margo’s Living Room series and will form part of a special edition playlist available in a few months. Should you enjoy this live version of ‘The Screen’, then you’ll be pleased to know that you can see them live at Highbury’s The Hope & Anchor on August 10th. And if that’s not enough, follow Blue Statue on social media as they will be releasing ‘The Screen’ early this month.
