What attracted you to the second Roadkill compilation?
Roadkill Records are one of our favourite nights in London and when we first started to gig around London we would see Roadkill posters and go “whoa man that looks cool”. So we went along to a couple and they were cool and are still so god damn cool, its an honour and a privilege to be part of this.
What bands on the tape are you most excited about?
That’s a tough question! Melt Dunes are a band we’ve been fortunate enough to of played with loads over the past few years and they just keep getting better and better. I love how they produce beautiful nightmarish soundscapes but also pack a punky punch and they just kill it live. Honorary mench to Table Scraps who we adore because they ruddy well rock.
What else is going on with Frauds at the moment?
We are currently recording at the moment and will have some new songs out around the summertime. Then we are doing a few festivals and putting our now annual summer party called “Sunburn” on August 4th at the Brixton Windmill (which I believe may clash with something Roadkill are doing.. sorry). We’ve got some lovely gigs coming up around the country which will be announced at some point and hopefully we’ll be able to get back out on a little tour before the year ends.
