Four-day weekend, you lucky duck? Get yourself to The Shacklewell Arms for a three-day festival of extremely excellent bands. All for free! The Zombie Jesus Weekender features, well, everyone really, but make sure not to miss sets from Yowl, Spoilers, Japanese Television, Skinny Milk, goes on listing bands forever.

Saxon Zine is presenting a night of music at Blondies on Friday 19 April, with sets from Cannibal Animal, Meat, and a host of DJs. Free entry.

Aloha Dead have two gigs this week. First, they’re supporting David Lynch’s musical partner Chrysta Bell at the Lewes Con Club on the 15, before featuring at The Double R Club in Bethnal Green on the 18.

If you fancy a surprise, The Old Blue Last has a secret headliner lined up for 20 April. The support acts include Pleasure Heads, Desire and Denh Izen, so it’ll probably be something a bit guitary and noisy, I guess. Free entry, so what do you have to lose?

An interesting three days of gigs in Leeds, Newcastle and Nottingham as Interrobang, Steve Ignorant’s Slice of Life and Headsticks rotate headline duties. Expect a mix of politics, punk and folk, with the shifting headliners bringing a different flavour to each of the three gigs.
