Brighton boys Dereck d.a.c. and Kianvslife have been on a journey. Along the way, they have devised and collaborated to create ‘Who Sold My Soul’, a thirteen track LP and 23-year old Dereck’s third instalment on here.
The pair took a well-deserved trip to Lisbon for some creative escape and just happened to put together this project. Produced by Kianvslife is a tag sought after by many artists in their town; the alternative R&B, bedroom pop-sounding beatmaker is renowned for his multi-layered, sunny side up approach showcased in solo releases spanning across 2020 and 2021. This is the first time Kian has teamed up with Dereck, but one suspects it’ll not be the last. Early release singles’ Dereckvslife’ and ‘Who Sold You?’ are out everywhere now, so you can get a taste of what’s been bubbling, with the full album and vinyl expected April 23rd.
