We Never Learned to Live celebrate the release of their second album The Sleepwalk Transmissions at the Black Heart in Camden on Friday. Curse These Metal Hands (a collaboration between Conjurer and Pijn) support, alongside our beloved Modern Rituals.

The DIY Thursdays Women of Noise Special on 18 May promises a “Secret Surprise Performance” that will only be announced on the day. For now, the only thing we can say for certain is that Kat Hudson will be Djing, but when they’re talking such a big game, I would suggest paying attention.

The always-reliable Blah Records are hosting a night of hip hop at The Old Blue Last on Saturday with the Mcabre Brothers tour. Also featuring Stinkin Slumrok and King Grubb.

Turn a big night out into a big day out by seeing Boyfromthecrowd’s afternoon gig at the Fiddler’s Elbow in Camden from 4 pm. Just remember to pace yourself, yeah?

Projector are launching their new single ‘Go Ahead’ at The Waiting Room on Friday 17 May. Support comes from Birmingham band The Cosmics and garage rockers ARXX.

Also at The Waiting Room this week, you can see Junodef, Cagework, and Blackaby. That’s Tuesday 14 May, free entry.
