Nova Twins start a headline tour on Thursday in Southampton, before carrying on to Brighton, London, Liverpool, Nottingham and Bath. Tickets are going fast, with Brighton and London already sold out, so get on it fast.

Album launch alert. Strange Cages are having a release show for their debut LP, Pop Therapy, at the Rialto Theatre on Friday. Support yet to be announced.

The rejigged mclusky* have a show at the Bullingdon on Thursday with support from local hardcore band Worry and garage punks Self Help.

It’s a strangely busy Thursday this week, as Dog of Man also have a show. They’re at the Richmond in Brighton with Hill and The Hidden.

Two London shows for Japanese Television this week, at the Lexington (with POW!) and the Victoria for…

TipFest 2019 on Saturday. Great lineup, also including Projector, Ghum and Muertos.

Ghum are busy that day, also taking part in If Not Now, When? in Oxford. Lots of names from the alternative DIY scene that you might not be familiar with, so well worth a look.
