There is much fun to be had at the Windmill Brixton on Saturday as they host Summer Weird Sin. A lot of stuff to see, including The Sly Persuaders, Muertos, Italia 90 and The Widows. You also get free BBQ with your ticket, which is exactly the kind of bribery that will work on me.
I’m gonna have a second featured gig this week because it’s my article and I can do what I want. Anyhoo, it’s the seventh edition of Fuzzy AF at the Engine Rooms on Saturday with Lazybones, Fabricators and Struggles with Syntax, and entry is free as uzh.
A truly excellent line up for the Siren Calling festival at Studio 9294 this weekend. Acts include Madonnatron, Dead Naked Hippies, The Cosmics and Junodef, as well as DJ sets from Goat Girl, Nova Twins and more.
You can head over to the Wilderness Record Store to hang out with Black Mekon and Cherry Pickles before their show at the Night & Day Cafe on Friday.
There’s a joint release party at The Hope & Ruin on Friday for Town of Cats and Dog Of Man (yes, really). There will also be “Klezmer-punk” from Buffo’s Wake, which must be worth the price of admission alone.
Set yourself up properly for the weekend with the Camden Mix-Up Vol. 11 on Thursday. This time, you’ll get music from Fake Turins, Couples, The Kaizens and Argh Kid.
One for our Isle of Wight readers. There’s gotta be at least one, right? Fat Earthers are with Wet Leg and Luna Tear at the Rose Inn on Saturday.
I don’t 100% know where ArcTanGent festival is (Compton Martin sounds like it could be the Home Secretary) but there are a few acts worth mentioning: Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, The Physics House Band, Møl, Palm Reader, The St. Pierre Snake Invasion, Cattle… Ok, there’s quite a lot here. You’ll probably need a satnav.
You have multiple excellent choices for Saturday, and you’ll also want to factor in the Alternative Gathering at The Birds Nest, featuring Yur Mum, Drag and Go Go Ponies.
