Since the new year, we are on a mission to feature post-punk bands sensitive to post-internet culture. Why? Because it’s happening now, on TikTok (which we are never tired to mention) where a new breed of young creatives are developing a new way to share everything that is post-punk.

Californian new wave duo Moth Tax embraces all that is fresh, progressive and inclusive in youth culture. Their latest track EQAF is the perfect example of a post-punk protest song for the Instagram generation. Clear statements, quirky visuals and ‘an only apparent’ playfulness. All in less than two minutes, that’s the length of two TikTok clips.
