As self-prophesied ‘hybrid-rap’ ambassadors, it comes as little surprise that their latest recruit Dolenz brings something, well hybrid.

Fusing a collection of cassettes from his youth, Dolenz samples dubstep, footwork, electro and halftime, all through a hip-hop lens, to create ‘Electric Fence’- his ’90s inspired debut drop on Potent Funk.

Our London-based producer has garnered support from Giles Peterson and NTS Radio‘s likes, as well as conducting collaborations with Jehst and Sumgii, before founding his monthly radio show on Subtle Radio. On this project we see him combine forces with label founder Dabbla and Blah Records‘ Black Josh, for the only two verses on the EP.
