ILM Series 4 Episode 1 – We aimed to get a sense of where the music industry is from the point of view of the independents. Derbi from One Little Indian answer our questions.

Not so long ago the Public Pressure crew were at London’s famous Independent Label Market (ILM). As well as having our own stall at the market selling vinyls and merch for our favourite artists, a few of us went round the event interviewing label members. It was an incredibly fun day (if you haven’t been to the ILM before it is highly recommended you check it out), and our interviews yielded some incredibly interesting insights into label life and the music scene of today. As such we want to share some of the most fascinating ones with you. Without any further ado here’s One Little Indian’s take on the vinyl resurgence, streaming and USBs inside of coconuts.
