If we were to let in the horror

Who can resist a subliminal video with a cryptic sequence of numbers? We spoke to Benjamin Corry from The Battery Farm about their latest track’ 97/91′. And it is actually an emotional look at how we deal with the horrors of our society.

Benjamin: “There is a blind spot at the centre of our reality, it allows us to carry on with our lives while the world burns around us. It’s only when atrocities happen in our proximity that we’re genuinely shaken by them. If we were to let in the horror, this would break us.”

“Many of us are trapped in these prisons, looking through given eyes bestowed on us by societal power structures. Whether we do it consciously or not, we embrace it because it is a survival technique, albeit one that is a necessary evil.”
