Foreign Poetry on the edge of now

Where are we? I think is the third time we mention Gramsci statement “The old world is dying and the new world struggles to be born. Now is the time of monsters.” But it’s true, we are in a time of global transition and it is also time for art and music to inspire us.

Foreign Poetry’s ‘Grace and Error on the Edge of Now’ album stares at this transition. “I think the album is a sincere attempt both as a reminder of something human and humble, which may have been forgotten, and a growing concern for the continual lack of purpose and connection evident in widening globalized chaos… it’s the best time to be alive but why doesn’t it feel that way?” says Danny Geffin.

As you watch their new video MHL (and yes that girl is Arrows Of Love’s Alice) you are left wondering if what you see is a vision of the future or reminiscence of the past; maybe both.
