Joy as an Act of Resistance, the new album from IDLES, gets its release on 31 August and is being supported by an exhibition at HM Electric Gallery in London.

The free exhibition this Thursday and Friday (30-31 August) features artwork inspired by the songs, taking the band’s themes and sounds and turning them into something completely new. Not only will the money raised from the auctioned art be donated to the Samaritans, but fans will be able to pick up a deluxe vinyl version of the album containing prints of all the pieces.

This is just the start of an intensely busy period for the band, with in-stores, American shows and a UK and European tour all before the end of the year. Check out their website for full details.
