Born in the heart of hip hop, the Bronx, Artist Ray Pearson has been a fan of hip-hop for as long as he can remember. Inspired personally by his older brother Mello and musical influences such as Eminem, Big Pun, Cuban Link & Jay-Z, he applied parts of their lyrical resonance into his sound and became his own artist. Ray is a 2 time Nominee for the Underground Music Awards, a 4 time independent music award winner for the Hip Hop Junky Awards and a Fleet DJ Rookie of The Year nominee for 2023. Ray Pearson has opened up for Joell Ortiz, Jeru The Damaga , Styles P , Jimmy Kang (WuTang Mgmt) , PMD of EPMD and Tony Touch. Ray has participated in numerous cypher’s including Cypher Circuit, and Grind Mode Cypher. Staying true to his grind Ray Pearson began transitioning into creating Latin Hip Hop music along with his moniker Suave Ramón while building his show/podcast “UnKaged With RAY!” [formerly known as Quarantine & Rap] where he has interviewed artists such as: Skyzoo, Chris Rivers [son of Big Pun], Lex The Hex Master, Mala Reignz & more. With his passion and drive mixed with his lyrical skills, Ray will become a force that the hip hop industry has never dealt with.
