Vocalist, guitarist and music producer, MADALDN, acts a solo artist and front woman for the punk rap band; Bang Bang Bunny. MADALDN started rapping at the age of thirteen, when she lived on a notorious estate in South East London. However, after a period of homelessness, she found her way into a radical activist group, where she learned guitar. MADA’s lyrics became increasingly politicised and centre around social justice; she states, “ were fuelled by anger due to traumatic events. I was pushed into punk rap. I didn’t fall into it.” To date, she has performed at venues across England and as a solo artist as and as part of a band, and smashed the main stage at Equinox and several other festivals in 2022 alone. Her music has appeared on Resonance, Manchester and Soho Radio. “We have a number of shows coming up in Bristol, London and Brighton and I can’t wait to pump up the crowd”. MADA states she is currently working on two albums, and an E.P. Her first single ‘Fallen Star’ was released just after Christmas 22 for distribution across all major platforms.
