A graceful snafu

A short but sweet five-track album that sees esteemed producer and label head Morriachi cunningly use features from Kayana, Capriisun and Pertrelli as alternative forms of instrumentation.

Our emcee for this alliance is Richmond Virginia’s Koncept Jack$on who, through solo expeditions and joint ventures with Mach Hommy, Fly Anakin, and first-rate producer Ohbliv, has risen somewhere close to the summit of the US’s ever-expanding underground rap scene.

I don’t want to give too much away on this release as it is one that should be enjoyed in its natural order and with multiple replays, such as Koncept’s form of delivery demands. What I can say though is that the focus this time is on vibe and feeling over the sometimes less desirable technicalities of production.

We’ve got already an early release single ‘A Toa$t’ out now, with the full project available digitally on October 29th. The really exciting news is that you can now pre-order the vinyl or cassette on Group BraCil website now, with fifty Obi Strips available to those lucky first few.
