Quarantine provided the backdrop, a time when the world slowed down and introspection became inevitable. “It just started with some homework that I got from high school,” Crisok recalls. Encouraged by friends who were already dabbling in music, he received guidance and support, which eventually led him to explore his musical abilities. However, this period was also marked by a balancing act; music was not yet a priority as he focused on his studies.
Despite not being initially inspired by him, the influence of Daddy Yankee played a significant role in Crisok’s musical orientation. “Listening to him in my childhood helped a lot to know the genre of reggaeton,” he explains. Daddy Yankee, a legend in the reggaeton world, served as a musical pillar, shaping Crisok’s understanding and appreciation of the genre.
The turning point in Crisok’s burgeoning career came when he heard his debut single ‘Mi Peor Error’ on the radio. He recounts the experience: “Listening to it for the first time on the radio and knowing that a lot of people were listening to it too made me feel proud of myself.” This milestone was more than just airplay; it was validation, a signal that his efforts were resonating with a wider audience.
Crisok’s musical journey is deeply intertwined with his proficiency in playing the guitar, an instrument he picked up at the age of 10. This skill honed his musical ear and enhanced his production capabilities. “It has helped me a lot in being able to sharpen my musical ear, being able to distinguish some notes and knowing how to work well on songs with my producers,” he notes. His involvement in the production process ensures that his music reflects his artistic vision, adding a personal touch that fans have come to appreciate.
A significant collaboration in Crisok’s career has been with Rex On The Track, a producer he met in 2021. Their partnership led to Crisok’s participation in the album ‘Nuevos Tiempos’, where he contributed four tracks. “We worked right from the start on the four songs that I have on it,” he says. This project marked a period of serious commitment to his music, signifying a shift from hobby to profession.
Crisok’s aspirations extend beyond personal success. As an artist from Honduras, he is driven by a desire to showcase the talent of his homeland on the global stage. “My dream is that everyone in the world knows that here in Honduras, we have a lot of talent”. While acknowledging the challenges, Crisok remains optimistic, believing that hard work and faith can overcome any obstacle. “Nothing is impossible in this life. We just need to work hard and put everything in God’s hands.”
Looking ahead, Crisok is enthusiastic about the future. He promises his fans a plethora of new music, collaborations with both national and international artists, and numerous interviews and live performances. “Big things are coming in 2024 and 2025. The best is yet to come,” he assures, hinting at an exciting journey ahead.

The initial lack of resources to record music was a significant barrier, compounded by the broader issue of insufficient support for artists in Honduras. “It’s been a little difficult to stand out in the music world,” he admits. Despite these challenges, Crisok’s determination has been unwavering. He credits his father for his unwavering support and acknowledges the encouragement from those who believed in his dream, helping him push forward even when doubts arose.

He has faced naysayers who doubted his potential, but his response has been steadfast determination. “Even though there are many people who tell me that I am not good at this, I have continued. I have not given up because this is my dream,” he asserts. His ultimate goal is not just to achieve personal success but to elevate his family and become a significant musical figure globally.
