Rabbit on the Roof are a 5-piece Greek Alternative pop/rock band from the Aegean island of Kos in Greece. The band formed in 2010 by a group of musician friends who came together out of their need to stay creative and keep evolving as musicians on the island’s relatively sterile music scene. Outsiders in their own environment, their unique musical style fuses 2 lead singers trading off vocal duties over melody driven, guitar soaring, synth infused musical landscapes. Living on a remote Greek island at the very tip of Southern Eastern Europe, overlooking the coast of the Asian continent, has bled into their musical identity setting them apart from their peers. Rabbit on the Roof’s debut album “dreamlets” thematically explores among other things, the search for one’s identity and the need to belong, parenthood, drug addiction, survival, death, the refugee crisis, inclusion regardless of sexual orientation, sex work and love.
