Born in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, Lyghtfoot emerged into the world on February 3, 2000, and wasted no time in making their mark in music. From a young age, their extraordinary talent for singing, producing, and songwriting set them apart as a musical prodigy. Since their 2015 debut, Lyghtfoot began training in voice, performance, and music theory; releasing over a dozen singles on Soundcloud in process. Their sound is a culmination of genres that they describe “weird-ass pop,” borrowing from the worlds of Hip-Hop, Rock, and Electronic. Now at the age of 24, Lyghtfoot is gearing up to release a new concept album detailing the experience of being black and queer in a fallen America.
