Bee Asha

Bee Asha dubbed one of the most interesting creatives in Scotland by The List UK 2023 was given track of the week with her new song Gitika on BBC Introducing Scotland’s January show, with the hosts calling her incomparable. Which her sound surely is. Bee explores cathartic creativity through her genre mixing spoken word, rap and singing. In 2019 Asha starred in the BBC Documentary, Spit it Out and in 2021 she co-founded award winning charity, The Spit it Out Project. Since beginning her solo career Asha has been collecting accolades in both the poetry and music industries. Winning best newcomer at the SAMA’s 2022, highlighted in the YWCA 30 most inspirational Women in Scotland, nominated for the Edwin Morgan award and awarded the Highly commended in arts and culture at the British Sikh Awards. This year Bee Asha greets the stage performing live with her full 5 piece all fem band, Bee Asha & The Band Tee’s.
