Artists

ANITA AVAKIAN

Georgian-Armenian born in Ukraine. All my life I have been engaged in music and annoying people around me by doing things my way and not the way they want me to. This perfectly describes what I do with my art. I spent half my life on stage, but I started writing music in 2019 and then boom – covid. I got back on my feet and even started releasing my music and boom – war. Long story short: I didn’t have time to develop as an artist, but I’m not giving up because I basically can’t stop. Because an artist is like being gay, we don’t choose it and everyone wants us to shut up, but if we become popular, they love us very much. So now I’m in Paris singing about how humanity is destroying humanity for the sake of power (dude knows power over what exactly…) hoping they’ll stop doing this crap and start just running under the sun, eating and making love. Thank you for attention.
