Andy Prinz is a Swiss music industry veteran, composer, and sound designer with more than 30 years’ experience. Gold and platinum certified. Having released tracks and remixes under/for numerous project names since 1993 – started out with Synthpop and Industrial in the early 90s, then switched to House & Techno, made a mark in the Trance scene around the turn of the millennium as producer and indie label/publisher, and then moved into experimental and Pop/Dance Pop. Have worked in record stores, music instrument and software houses, and was national product manager (CH) for audio brands such as Steinberg or Propellerheads.
Active music publisher and indie label owner since 2001, serving on a mandate basis for various major record labels and helping many brands and artists fuel their careers (Street Parade, Aly & Fila, Pull n Way to name a few). Helped launch Switzerland’s largest musician association as part of the political music scene. Since 2018 on staff as director of A&R for both Musikvertrieb AG (muve recordings) and lately for an independent company known as LIVANA MUSIC AG (label & publishing), developing numerous artists like Marc Sway, Lazer Boomerang, Chiara Dubey, James Gruntz or Tatana among others.
Started experimenting with voice AI modeling and licensing in the context of Web 3.0.
