Our punk compilation tape Subcultures #1 launches on Thursday 15 November at The Victoria. Freakouts will be playing one of their last sets here, alongside a DJ set from Bo Gritz, who also appear on the tape. As if that wasn’t enough (it really, really was), Meatraffle will be bringing their psychedelic funk, with Uncle Tesco and Public Pressure favourites Starsha Lee completing the bill. Get a taste of our limited release tape on Bandcamp and come along to support the launch and nab a copy for yourself.

Shoegaze punks Dancehall bring their European tour to The Shacklewell Arms on Monday 12 November. Support from the ever-intriguing Minnie Micros and honky-tonk synthsters H0nkies. Two mentions for The Victoria this week, as you’re also gonna want to get there on Tuesday 13 November for music from Foreign Poetry, Blackhill Pioneers and Human Music. Get across to Bristol’s Chelsea Inn on 16 November for some dirty rock’n’roll from Pussycat and the Dirty Johnsons as they promote their third EP. Devon garage punks Crooked Little Sons and goth-influenced Miseria Hallows support.
